Image by Tim Zim via Flickr Spring cleaning in the mountains. We finally ordered a skip bin for the weekend to clear out some of the stuff in the storage room downstairs and to get rid of all the garden clippings and tree branches that came down during recent storms.
We spent Saturday morning doing the storage room and then the afternoon we went grocery shopping another chore I really don't like. Of course it rained while we were working, no surprise!
Sunday was a beautiful clear and perfect day to be outdoors. We spent the morning to early afternoon cleaning up the yard, doing a lot of weeding and planting some plants.
Unfortunately, we didn't quite get it all in the skip bin so now we have a trip to the rubbish tip as well. Feeling very pleased with ourselves on a job well done, we decided to go on a picnic for lunch. So after cleaning up, we packed the dogs in the car and took off up to Katoomba. After buying some lunch we went up to our favourite lookout Narrow Neck, where we ate our lunch while looking at the views.
Here's our boys enjoying the fresh air of the mountains!
I couldn't do this post until now because once again the internet was down.
Cheers,
Marieanne
